Who we are

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Account Registration and Gameplay

Creating an account for Millennium 2099 requires an email address, a username, and a password. This information provides authentication and account recovery capabilities. During gameplay, the server logs character names, chat communications, and command inputs. These logs are used to operate the game environment, troubleshoot bugs, and enforce community rules.

Payments and Tip Jar

The site may accept voluntary contributions or future subscriptions using third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). The website does not collect or store full credit card numbers. The payment processor provides transaction records, which include the date, amount, and the associated email address. We use these records strictly for accounting purposes.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
